Interim report Organizing Committee Wüfä Nov. 2023

Dear residents of Höngg

The organizing committee is already intensively preparing for the 45th Höngger Wümmetfäscht, as a great festival for everyone in the neighborhood is to take place again from September 20-22, 2024. The festival grounds with numerous attractions extend from the festival square at the Protestant church via Bauherrenstrasse to the upper part of Ackersteinstrasse, and of course the Chilesteig vineyard is also integrated into the festival.

It is still unclear whether we will be able to use the Mühlehalde hall for the Wümmetfäscht. However, the organizing committee is making an effort to find a good solution with the property owner, the City of Zurich. Many program ideas are currently being developed, the search for sponsors has just begun, and it is certain that the festival will start on Friday at 6:00 p.m. with the arrival of the Suuserwagen on the church square. There will be a lot going on again!

Look forward to the 45th Höngger Wümmetfäscht, as residents of Höngg, as volunteers, as guests, or even as participants. We members of the organizing committee always have an open ear for your concerns.
