Interim report OC Wüfä April 2024

Dear residents of Höngg

Since the last interim report in November 2023, several topics of the 45th Höngger Wümmetfäscht have developed positively.

It has now been confirmed that we can use the hall at Mühlehalde for the Wümmetfäscht, securing the location for the Wümmetparty on Friday from 9:00 PM and the Höngg Evening on Saturday. The festival grounds on the upper Ackersteinstrasse will be in operation on Saturday and Sunday and will feature a new event meeting point for many artists and attractions with the mobile stage of the Sozimobil. The esteemed festival restaurants such as Wiilaube, Winzerlounge, Raclette tent, and Wümmetkafi will each be complemented by a Wümmetbar at Mühlehalde and on Ackersteinstrasse.

Many clubs and organizations are already in preparations for the big harvest market and the entertaining games on Saturday/Sunday. Thanks to the numerous Sponsorship commitments we can put together an attractive festival and entertainment program and kick off the three varied festival days on Friday at 6:00 PM with an opening ceremony.

Still looking for volunteers Helpers with deployment times in the areas of infrastructure setup, festival site management, and cleaning, shifts at the sausage/drink stand or the Wümmetbar. The helper portal will be ready by the end of May, and we hope for the registration of many interested residents of Höngg.

Look forward to the 45th Höngger Wümmetfäscht, as residents of Höngg, as volunteers, as guests, or even as participants. We members of the organizing committee always have an open ear for your concerns.
