1. Organizing Committee Info on Wüfä 2026

Dear Wümmetfäscht participants, dear residents of Höngg

The Organizing Committee for the Wümmetfäscht 2026 has formed at the first organizing committee meeting! With Olivia Kolbe and Thomas Stüber, we have two new members in the core team. A warm welcome. Both have lived in Höngg for a long time and are familiar with and connected to the local community.

The core committee has started its work, initial contacts with sponsors, the city administration, the Höngger Zunft and associations and institutions, to ensure that the 46th Wümmetfäscht can also be a success.

After extensive clarifications, the committee has decided in 2026 no festival parade to be held on Sunday afternoon. In recent years, unfortunately, interested spectators were only present on just under half of the parade route. In addition, many clubs and their members are already so heavily involved with the festival restaurants, market stalls, stage performances, and volunteer work that participating in the parade has increasingly become a burden.

The organizing committee also offers Höngg clubs, institutions, and entertainment providers proven and additional opportunities for presentation and introduction in 2026. Information for the clubs was sent by email at the beginning of December.

We will provide ongoing information about the status of the preparations on our website.
